The Thoroughbred Breeders' Association (TBA) Entry to Stud Employment Programme (E2SE) Next intake AUGUST 2022 The E2SE programme is tailored for those who wish to pursue a career in the Thoroughbred industry but do not have practical experience. Recent graduates are currently working at Darley, Cheveley Park Stud, Juddmonte, Newsells Park and Watership Down Stud among others. The course is conducted in two intakes (August and October). The first intake focuses on those with no practical equine experience - students will complete with a Level One Diploma in Work-Based Thoroughbred Horse Care. The course is full-time residential and runs for 6 weeks followed by an optional 3 weeks of work experience. Level 2 is tailored for those with some practical experience working with horses and those who have been successful in Level 1 can continue onto Level 2 in the same year. The course is full-time residential and runs for 9 weeks. Those who meet the required standard will be invited to interview for a work placement at a UK stud farm where they will complete their Level 2 Diploma in Work-Based Horse Care (Breeding Option). No academic qualifications are required for acceptance, all applicants must be 18 and over.
