Job title: Group Annual Box Manager 

Based at: Cheltenham

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Annual Box Manager to join our Commercial team. The position will drive increased revenue and elevate the box holders experience across The Jockey Club by building upon existing foundations, whilst also delivering exceptional account management for national and local Partners in line with the Partnership strategy. Reporting into the Head of Partnership Account Management you will lead on account management across Annual Box holders for the core racing product ensuring we act for the good of British racing in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver financial growth of existing accounts through the renewal process  in line with the strategy to ensure that Group Partnership budgets are achieved 
  • Implement practices to ensure year round ‘best in class’ management of accounts; in the lead up to, during and post event, as well as conducting year round dialog with Partners
  • Ensure an understanding of the business models, objectives and KPIs of Partners
  • To deliver agreed national, regional and local contracted partnership rights
  • Manage multiple internal stakeholders to ensure the partnership rights are understood and implemented
  • Effectively manage admin practices to include but not limited to; raceday delivery, hospitality requirements, invoicing and  ticket distribution
  • Collaborate with the Head of Partnership Sales and Partnership Sales Executives to ensure Partners are proactively furnished with new and relevant opportunities and identify future sales opportunities in a timely manner
  • Effectively react to incoming Annual Box enquiries across the Group

The successful candidate will;

  • Evidence of delivery of sponsorship rights packages
  • Good experience in the delivery of contractual sponsorship rights
  • Proven experience of high level negotiations
  • Highly organised and process-driven
  • Good interpersonal & influencing skills

The successful candidate will be required to work evenings and weekends to support racing when necessary.
