Godolphin are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking Apprentice Gardener to join our small team based in Newmarket. 

Reporting to the Head Gardener, you will be tasked the maintenance of lawns using a variation of mowers and compact tractors and the maintenance, pruning, reshaping and general care of hedges, shrubs and perennials.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with a natural passion for gardening. We welcome applications from people who take great pride in their work and possess a genuine willingness to learn new skills and develop their knowledge of horticulture. If you are someone who would relish the chance to work on world class facilities in a high-performance sport environment, we be delighted to hear from you.  Alongside your day-to-day duties you will be expected to carry out and complete a Level 2 apprenticeship in Landscaping and Horticulture.

Math’s and English GCSE at a minimum of a grade 2 (E) or above is desirable, as is a clean driving licence.
