The Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association (TBA), represents the interests of British breeders, continually working to improve the sustainability of the industry and the long-term health and future of the breed. A key objective of the TBA is to provide education and guidance to its membership and the wider breeding industry, and in line with this the TBA has developed an e-learning platform, TB-Ed, to improve its accessibility and reach a wider audience.
The role of E-learning Operations Executive will be to oversee the operational delivery of TB-Ed, including maintenance and administration of the platform, coordinating delivery of high quality, engaging content, activating marketing and communications plans and developing business and stakeholder engagement.
In addition the E-learning Operations Executive will:
- Oversee supplier relationships with the contracted providers Promote the platform at meetings and events Monitor financial performance of the platform Liaise with funders, sponsors, and stakeholders Evaluate the platform performance, monitor KPIs and prepare quarterly and annual reports for the TBA Board of Trustees, relevant committees, and funders
The successful candidate will be someone who:
- Has good knowledge of the thoroughbred breeding and racing industry Can demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills including ability to proofread and edit content Has strong IT skills and is a competent user of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint Is familiar with social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube Is pro-active, with strong planning and organisational skills, and an ability to focus on key priorities Is collaborative, and able to build and manage relationships and network effectively Has a clean driving licence Is preferably familiar with course design and development Has experience of working with websites and/or CMS
The position is a full-time permanent position based at the TBA’s office in Newmarket, with a salary and benefits package dependent on relevant experience and skills.
