Stable Staff / Work Riders

Nicky Richards Racing are looking for full time stable staff to join our successful team in Greystoke. Located in a small village on the edge of The Lake District, Nicky Richards Racing is an ideal setting for those looking to work outside of the main training centres. We are only 5miles from the closest town which has plenty of shops/transport facilities.

Vacancies for ground staff and work riders. 

Groundstaff duties include: Mucking out, bedding up, hay/water, putting horses on the walker, turning out in paddocks etc 

Work Riders must be able to ride to a good standard, racing experience is preferable. Riders will be expected to ride out 3-4 lots a morning (approx 1hr per lot) and then help finish up on the yard with feeding etc. 

Applicants must be reliable, hard working and available to work weekends. Accommodation available. Staff will receive:

Rates of pay depend on age and experience.
