Apprentice Racing Business Administrator

An amazing opportunity to join the largest racing group in the UK, Arena Racing Company (ARC). They are looking to recruit two enthusiastic Level 3 Business Administrator Apprentices to join their dynamic team, who work with some fantastic partners.

The role includes:

• Helping with the provision of commercial racing and non-racing hospitality packages.
• Communicating with clients as a key point of contact, verbally and in written formats.
• Gaining an extensive understanding of how the racing industry operates.
• Using your initiative to complete workload requirements.
• Visiting racecourses/race yards to understand how your job relates to the racing industry and the impact it has.
• Creating and maintaining accurate records and relevant documentation.
• Learning the language and key words in racing terminology and how to apply these.
• Using various IT applications relevant to the organisation.

As part of this apprenticeship, you will be able to complete projects and Racing To Learn modules with support from a specialist Trainer Coach to embed your knowledge and skills. In addition, you will attend an exclusive BHA endorsed overview day.

The apprenticeships will be based at the ARC work location nearest to the successful candidates, with no day release required for college.  This is a full-time role of 40 hours a week over 5 days which could include working a weekend day or bank holiday where racing/events are scheduled.
