The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) is the governing and regulatory body for horseracing in Great Britain. It is the BHA’s role to act for and on behalf of the whole sport, with a key objective being to ensure the highest standards apply on and away from the racecourse.
The BHA is looking to recruit a Change Manager, reporting to the Head of Programme Delivery. This role will be responsible for leading, managing and delivering business and technology change and improvement initiatives, using appropriate change management approaches and frameworks to deliver expected benefits and value. This includes delivering digital transformation associated with Racing Digital - a new technology product that will revolutionise the way British Racing is administered and enable a more digitally and customer focussed organisation.
The role will work with stakeholders across the BHA and racing industry to ensure that change is embedded, and new ways of working become business as usual without any interruption to the business and racing industry.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable influencing and engaging with various stakeholders at all levels, and has previous experience of managing, implementing and delivering complex transformation change projects using change management methodologies and principles. You will have previous experience of supporting digital transformation, proactively preparing the business and supporting people through change to achieve successful results and new ways of working.
To be successful in this role you will be an good communicator who has a passion for positive change and improvement, is self-motivated, able to challenge the status quo and, working in collaboration with stakeholders, able to drive and influence change.
