The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) is the governing and regulatory body for horseracing in Great Britain. It is the BHA’s role to act for and on behalf of the whole sport, with a key objective being to ensure the highest standards apply on and away from the racecourse.
Reporting to the Head of Raceday Officials, the Racecourse & Facilities Manager will provide operational management to the Racecourse Inspectorate to achieve the BHA’s mission and annual objectives relating to Racecourse operations, Arabian Racing Organisation, Pony Racing Authority and Point-to-Point racing.
You will provide leadership, management, motivation, and development to the Racecourse Inspectorate team to ensure efficient processes and workflows as well as ensuring consistent standards are reached by creating an environment that inspires continuous improvement. You will bring a strong knowledge of racecourse surfaces and facilities management.
To be successful in this role, you will be someone who is able to establish credibility and rapport with multiple stakeholders at all levels across the BHA and racing environment.
