Applications are invited for the position of the Point to Point Authority (PPA) Marketing and Sponsorship Manager
The PPA is a small organization which runs Point-to-Point Horseracing, operating under the delegation agreement in place with the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), who retain overall responsibility.
The Marketing and Sponsorship Manager will be responsible for marketing the sport, particularly to possible future owners and trainers, and finding new sponsors. This is a wide-ranging role, which is both people facing and requires careful planning, working closely with the CEO.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter and a team player, who has an interest and knowledge in the racing world, as well as marketing experience. You will be a lateral thinker able to understand the broader picture into which any plan will fit. You will be excellent at building relationships and providing diplomatic support; desirable to have worked before with volunteers. You will be competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook. Some knowledge of point to pointing desirable
The post is part-time – exact hours to be negotiated. Some core hours required to work in office near Swindon but hybrid working available as well as flexible hours. Competitive salary.
