Stallion Handler

Ballylinch Stud are welcoming applications for the role of Stallion Handler.  

The role will involve:

• All aspects of horse husbandry.
• General routine breeding procedures and daily duties required in the walk-in unit and covering shed.
• Preparing and presenting stallions to clients.

Skills required:

• Experience in a similar role.
• Excellent horse handling skills, with sound knowledge and practical experience handling and caring for thoroughbreds.
• Preparation and handling of both mares and stallions in the walk-in unit and covering shed.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well both within a team and independently.
• A high level of professionalism, dedication and attention to detail.
