The British Racing School requires a Workplace Instructor to take on a portfolio of Trainees working in racing yards in the North Yorkshire area. This is a part-time post. The position involves teaching and supporting young people on the Level 2 and Level 3 Equine Groom (Racing) Apprenticeships.
Essential Skills/Qualifications -
- Experience working in a racing yard Good level of Maths and English, Excellent communication skills IT skills Flexible approach to working with trainees and employers A full driving licence
Desirable Skills/Qualifications -
- Level 3 Diploma in Racehorse Care & Management Assessor Qualifications Teaching Qualifications or willingness to undertake further training provided by the BRS where necessary.
Hours: up to 25 hours per week
