The Scottish Racing Academy is recruiting for a Training and Schools Academy Coordinator. This will be a varied role in which the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and success of the SRA’s largest, and diverse cohort of learners. The role requires attention to detail, a commitment to access and inclusion and realistic delivery targets. In addition to coordination of the Schools Academy, some delivery and teaching support will be required across other training provision.

The Scottish Racing Academy is an SQA approved centre and this role may eventually include being the primary point of contact for SQA dependent on experience. 

Education experience is essential, and candidates must have excellent communication skills, be flexible and have a positive attitude. This role is home based however, regular travel and lone working is required although, you will plan your own diary in line with the learner requirements and schemes of work.

You will require a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check. The job is dependent on two references.

The hours required are 35 hours per week, although occasionally events and evening work might be required.

The pay bracket is £30,000.00 – £38,500.00 dependent on experience
