Stallion Handler

Tweenhills Farm & Stud are looking for a Stallion Handler to join our fantastic team. The position is for the 2023 breeding season, but can start sooner if necessary.

You will be responsible for our 4 Stallions along with another member of our Stallion team and must be competent handling stallions, yearling, mares and foals.

Experience in the covering barn and showing of stallions is essential. Your duties will be the day to day running of the stallion yard, routine care of the stallions and covering during the breeding season, along with traveling them occasionally. General yard duties on the rest of the stud farm when required. 

Communication skills are essential as well as a high level of equine experience and knowledge. Must be able to work well within a team.
