Work Rider

Bryan Smart Racing is looking for work riders to join their highly successful, award winning team at their yard based near Sutton Bank, Thirsk.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, a team player and must be a competent rider. Experience in the racing industry is preferred but not essential as other capable riders from an eventing or show jumping background will also be considered.

Full time hours (40 per week) are available working alternate weekends with every other Wednesday afternoon off. Part time hours and weekend work also available.

Excellent, centrally-heated accommodation available on site for full time permanent staff. We are able to offer the successful candidate a fantastic range of horses to ride on our own gallops with no road work and a well organised routine.

Team Smart reached the final of the Lycetts Team Champion Awards 2020 and achieved Gold Accreditation along with a Certificate of Excellence for our Safe Working Practices.
