Travelling Head Person

The suitable applicant will be willing to drive a 3.5 tonne lorry and lead up. You will be capable of turning out to a high standard - (we do not plait) treat any minor nicks and generally take sole responsibility for the horses under their care at the races. You will not be in a hurry to or from the races and always have the maturity to consider the horses in transit. 

We are looking to recruit a Travelling Head Person to join our top quality team. We are aware of the demanding nature of this role and would therefore be supporting you with back up in busy times. 

Ideally riding out and/or yard work would run alongside the travelling role. Including upkeep of the lorries, racing tack, colours, washing, mane pulling and clipping. However we would consider a driver on a race day basis.

Competitive Salary. Each week all hours over 40 are paid at the overtime rate within BHA guidelines.
