About the role

As a Hospitality Sales Executive based at Doncaster Racecourse, you will work within our regional commercial team, driving the commercial success of the North of England and Midlands. You will drive commercial sales by the effective conversion of hospitality and restaurant enquires, with a focus on upselling, account management and driving repeat business. This Hospitality Sales Executive role will also include some pro-active sales to both existing clients and new clients. Primarily based at Doncaster Racecourse, travel between our venues on the odd occasion may be required.

The working pattern for this role will usually be one of the following shift patterns, 8am-4.30pm, 8.30am-5pm, 9am-5.30pm or 9.30am-6pm, 5 days out of 7. 

The Responsibilities of a Hospitality Sales Executive (but not limited to):

• Responding to incoming enquiries within the prescribed timescale with a professional and positive manner.

• Maximizing profit from current clients, upselling and cross-selling where appropriate.

• Recognizing the opportunity by always addressing client needs to provide the best commercial solution through the best fit experience.

• Preparing accurate contracts within the set pricing parameters, consistent with the commercial model for specific course / race day / event.

• Applying sales incentives where appropriate to convert sales within the commercial parameters set by the Senior Racing Sales Executive.

• Ensuring accurate and effective booking handover to the delivery teams who will be responsible for the operation of the experiences, continuing an effective and steady flow of communication.

 

About you:

The person we are looking for as Hospitality Sales Executive has:

• Previous experience within a customer service or a sales environment

• Worked within an office environment and can use Microsoft office (Outlook)

• GCSE or equivalent in Math and English

• Relentlessly positive attitude

• Ability to work on own initiative and be an excellent communicator.
