Yard Person/Work Rider

Dual purpose trainer Thomas Gallagher is looking for a full time experienced work rider/groom to join a small enthusiastic team in Borehamwood - 14 miles outside of central London. The yard is a private training facility consisting of mostly young National Hunt horses alongside a handful of Flat horses. 

As the team is small the role is very varied, from riding out, yard work, gallop maintenance, checking youngsters at pasture etc. There are opportunities to go racing in the UK as well as in Ireland and Jersey for a candidate with a full UK drivers licence (3.5t).

Excellent wage, free access to a gym with instructed classes, pool money, work place pension. Working 5.5 days a week and every third Sunday - Sunday's are paid as overtime. Accommodation available on site.
