Travelling Head Person

A fantastic position has become available at Ed Dunlop Racing to join the team as 2nd Travelling Head Person. The role involves all aspects of the industry day to day however your main responsibility will be travelling horses to the races, saddling, looking after owners and being in sole charge of horses and staff while on the racecourse. The ideal candidate will need to be able to:

• Show good leadership skills

• Work as part of a team

• Be able to perform basic first aid on horses

• Pull manes and perform evening stable duties

• If you hold a HGV License and are able to ride out when needed it would be a big bonus

We work 1 in 2 weekend and get every other Wednesday afternoon off however during the season when busy with racing may need you to be flexible with this.
