Work Rider / Racing Groom

It's been an amazing 2022-23 season for the Paul Nicholls team in Ditcheat winning our 14th Championship and breaking our record of the prize money won in a season!  We have a vacancy for someone enthusiastic to come and join our team in July 2023, early start date considered.  We can offer a great opportunity to enjoy riding out and working with top class racehorses.  If you would like to be part of a fun and friendly team this is your chance!  

A role that will involve riding out 4 lots, general yard and stable duties and lots of chances to attend various racecourses including the big festivals.  

• Working 1 weekend in 3 (Thursday afternoon off approaching weekend to work)
• Excellent share of pool money for all staff
• Top class, well mannered horses to enjoy riding

We require riders to be competent on a variety of horses, enthusiastic and motivated and able to work well within a large team.  

We are also interested to hear from applicants who might be looking for part time yard work and weekends, mucking out, grooming and general stable duties.
