Whitsbury Manor Stud are looking for Stud Hands to join the team. Offering a great opportunity for capable/ambitious people looking to proceed within the industry. Role includes all aspects involved with a busy commercial thoroughbred stud farm. Previous experience beneficial but not essential. Please see below:
Feeding and checking horses
Mucking out stables
Paddock maintenance
General stud maintenance
Assisting the vet
Assisting the farrier
Assisting with day to day care of mares & foals & yearlings
Assisting with the team in covering shed.
Preparing yearlings and foals for major UK/Irish sales
Attending major UK foal and yearling sales
On site self catered accommodation can be provided if required. Competitive Salary provided (dependent on experience) along with bonuses and company pension scheme.
