We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant to join our Team here at Royal Windsor Racecourse.
About the role…
Reporting to the Executive Director, the main responsibilities of the role will be to provide general maintenance assistance for the venue along with supporting the racing and non-racing operations.
The Maintenance Assistant is a hands-on role which offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference to an exciting venue. The role will support both proactive maintenance planning as well as dealing with reactive maintenance requests to a high standard.
This is an essential role to the business and helps maintain an iconic venue to the required standard in delivering our businesses key objective, including offering a memorable customer experience whilst maintaining a high level of safety and compliance.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Racecourse, Sport, Leisure or hotel background would be an advantage
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Logical approach to tasks
- Personable and works well within a small team
- Excellent approach towards time management
- Works well under pressure.
- Customer service focused (internal and external).
- Organised and takes pride in workmanship.
- Trade’s qualifications / experience preferred but not essential
