Stable Staff

Shovelstrode Racing are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Stable Staff to join their family run yard. We are a hardworking, friendly team who enjoy working together.

General yard duties will include: mucking out, putting horses on the walker, feeding and care for the horses, tacking up, grooming, keeping the yard and stables clean and tidy.

Must have previous experience of handling horses and must ride to a high standard. 

The ideal candidates will:

• ride to a high standard
• have good communication skills
• have the ability to work under pressure
• be a team player
• be passionate about horses
• be willing to learn and listen
• work independently

Competitive wages, 40 hr working week, accommodation provided - separate onsite 2 bedroom flat - would suit a couple.  

The opportunity to progress is there for those who desire more responsibility or develop new skills.
