About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a National Conference & Events Marketing Manager within our Marketing team, working closely with the National Marketing Director, National Sales Director, and Regional Heads of C&E Sales to the ensure the successful delivery of marketing activity for C&E across the group.

The National Conference & Events Marketing Manager will

• Own the development of Jockey Club Venues marketing strategies for the whole group across both the East and West courses.

• Have ownership of all JCV and racecourse marketing spend plans and budgets, liaising closely with the National Sales Director and Head of C & E sales to develop and implement plans and optimise ROI.

• Ensure the development of clear activity briefs, communicating these clearly to the supporting group marketing teams and evaluate activity proposals developed by the group marketing teams.

• Liaise closely with the social media team, CRM team and Digital marketing team to ensure the development and execution of content plans for C&E

• Lead the C&E team and ensure delivery of marketing activity for both East and West regions are planned and delivered.

• Take a lead on agency and industry partner relationships.

About you

• Good experience in the development and execution of multi-channel marketing strategy and plans

• Good understanding of all key areas of the marketing mix, including proposition development, creative development, media planning and digital marketing

• Experience and understanding in the use of data to drive insight, develop customer strategy and step-change marketing results.

• C&E Marketing experience and understanding of the conference industry.

• Understanding of B2B marketing across a wide field, and knowledge of trends in marketing technique
