About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Project Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative website and app projects for The Jockey Club. You will be responsible for leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

The Digital Project Manager will

• Deliver the technical roadmap and projects to time, budget and required standards.

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.

• Manage project risks and issues, implementing solutions to maintain project momentum.

• Manage the entire project lifecycle for website and app development projects, including planning, scope definition, execution, and launch.

• Discover, prioritise, and write requirements for new product features.

• Work and collaborate closely with stakeholders from across the organisation, including internal teams (digital, marketing, sales, operations, IT, and business support) and external agencies (web development and app development houses).

• Oversee the work of developers, designers, and other project team members to ensure deliverables meet deadlines and quality expectations.

• Conduct regular project reviews and communicate progress updates to stakeholders.

• Track project performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Represent the digital product team both internally to leadership and externally where appropriate.

• Stay up to date with the latest digital trends in the sports industry.

About you

• Extensive experience working with digital platforms with solid knowledge of customer behaviour.

• Confident articulating technology solutions with developers and technical delivery teams.

• Deep understanding of tech stacks including CMS, CRM, ESP, Ticketing platform and data warehouse.

• Strong Collaborator able to communicate effectively and influence a wide range of stakeholders across varied functions to drive delvery.

• Experienced in managing Development agencies.

• Hyper organised with outstanding attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities with competing timelines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, proven experience driving product and business decisions.

• Team-oriented, collaborative, and demonstrated willingness to roll up sleeves and get into the weeds of a project.

• Curious approach with enjoyment gained from working with others to explore new ways to test and learn.
