The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) is the governing and regulatory body for horseracing in Great Britain. It is the BHA’s role to act for and on behalf of the whole sport, with a key objective being to ensure the highest standards apply on and away from the racecourse.
The BHA is looking to recruit a Data Analyst (Industry People Board) reporting to the Head of Insight, Data & Analytics. Working collaboratively with the Strategy & Change team and the IPB, the Data Analyst will lead on the creation and development of reports and dashboards which will support our People Board initiatives, partnering with various stakeholders.
The role will work with stakeholders across the BHA and the racing industry to deliver reliable, high-quality insight and analysis to illustrate the journey of an employee in the racing industry. This will be done through the use of SQL, advanced analytics, narrative reports and dashboards.
We are looking for someone who is looking to establish themselves as the go-to person for People, and a key part of the role will be providing insights and data-led recommendations to a variety of stakeholders across the racing industry.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working with HR/people data, curiosity to learn more and creatively interrogate data, working closely with teams to prioritise and manage project timelines. You will be comfortable with large data sets from a variety of sources and you will be a good communicator who has a passion for positive change and improvement through data.
