The Facilities Operative Electrician will
• Deliver all electrical maintenance work including cable installation (armoured and fireproof), wiring industrial & domestic installations, emergency lighting, fire, and burglar alarm systems and telephone installations.
• Work on specific projects at Aintree Racecourse and, when required throughout the Region.
• Operate a wide array of machinery complying with health and safety policies and procedures to always ensure safe working practises.
• Complete additional professional training to learn additional skills to suit business requirements.
• Provide an efficient and consistently high standard of work and service to both internal and external customers.
• Play a proactive role in contributing to the most efficient utilisation of the Facility budgets.
About you
• Proven experience as an Electrician with a relevant qualification (18 th edition)
• Deep understanding of electrical techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Expert in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
• Super organised with outstanding attention to detail
• Confident communicator able to effectively interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Tech savvy with capability to interpret data.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures (IOSH qualification as advantage)
