About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Software Support Assistant to join our Business Services Team at Epsom Downs Racecourse. The role will see the individual primarily responsible for the helpdesk service, supporting all internal customers reporting issues and responding to inquiries through email, phone, and the service portal. we are looking for individuals that possess excellent communication skills, have a keen eye for detail, are customer service focused and have experience of software platforms and their administration.

The Software Support Assistant will

• Work efficiently to ensure all requests for support and setup are logged in the helpdesk platform in a diligent and professional manner and are resolved in priority order.

• Log and prioritise inbound requests, diagnosing issues and escalating appropriately.

• Respond toinbound requests for help, advice and support relating to the event management system. This may include managing users, setting up of resource and price list items, reporting queries, finance queries, error messages and data extracts.

• Work to ensure all hospitality and relevant C&E packages are set up correctly for integration between the ticketing and event management system.

• Resolve any issues and queries relating to order integration.

• Grow knowledge of The Jockey Club Racecourses through site visits delivering user training & mentoring sessions and provide event support.

About you

• An excellent communicator able to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.

• Passionate about delivering a first-class customer experience.

• Experienced in using software platforms or in an administration role.

• Hyper organised with excellent attention to detail.

• Logical approach to problem solving with ability to prioritise.

• A keen and enthusiastic approach to work
