We have a fantastic opportunity for an Education Administrator and Student Supervisor to join our team at The National Stud.

Responsibilities:

•Carry out all day to day administrative processes including responding to enquiries and course applications.

•Maintain up-to-date and accurate student records.

•Co-ordinate student interviews, course induction and portfolio paperwork .

•Update alumni database and administration of correspondence as required.

• Assist with co-ordination recruitment events, school/college/community group tours, short courses and CPD events.

• Complete administration of the Evening Lecture Programme including but not limited to booking lecturers, circulating schedule and processing payment for external attendees.

• Supervise and support learners on the stud as required during the working day, on external trips and at the sales.

• Invigilation of exams.

• Booking and co-ordinating online education talks.

• Setting up for recruitment and marketing events.

• Supervising students to complete written assessments.

• Weekly Health and Safety checks and inspection of education facilities.

About you

• Knowledge of the thoroughbred industry.

• Understanding of key safeguarding legislation.

• Experience in an administrative role.

• Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft programs including Word and Excel

• High level of attention to detail

• Passionate about the recruitment and training of the next generation of stud staff and industry participants

• Able to work occasional evenings and weekend work as required
