Barn Manager

Henry de Bromhead Racing is searching for a Barn Manager. Good salary plus bonus depending on experience. Wonderful opportunity to work with one of Ireland's leading Trainers. 

The Ideal Candidate: 

• Will have a good working knowledge of all aspects of horsemanship and oversee the proper care of horses (experience in racing a bonus but not a necessity)
• Understand basic medical treatments (training will be provided for a more in - depth knowledge of treating and assessing issues) 
• Will be responsible for overseeing the general maintenance and upkeep of the barn
• Will be able to supervise a team of employees and help mentor them 
• Oversee feeding, supplements, Watering, worming and shoeing
• The candidate for this job does not need to know how to ride, however, if they would like to, that can be factored in as part of the job spec.
• We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and organised individual who can work off their own initiative.
