Stud Hand

Competent experienced person wanted to join a busy small team at a Stud and Veterinary Centre in Gloucestershire working under the Stud Manager and Director. You will be required to perform all stud duties with a lead by example approach. Ideally looking for a candidate who would like career progression towards the management team, who thrives under pressure and enjoys a busy environment with a can-do attitude. Must be able to work well within a team.

Good leadership and communication skills are essential as well as a high level of equine experience and knowledge. Must be competent handling stallions, foals, young stock as well as difficult horses and have a good attention to detail. 7.5t license and semen collection experience a bonus.

Training will be provided.

Full time, permanent position.
