Assistant Trainer

An exciting opportunity to join our small, friendly and successful Breaking, Pre-training and point to point yard in Somerset. Due to an increase in horses we are looking for someone enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Duties:

• Daily yard chores (may include some mucking out)
• Exercising fit Point to Pointers and National Hunt pre-trainers
• Liasing with the vet, farrier and physio alongside the head girl

Opportunities:

• Assist in training/race planning for the right candidate
• Attend most point to point meetings in the South West and also Hunter Chase meetings
• Participate in schooling and racecourse galloping.

A clean drivers licence is a must
Shared onsite accommodation is available
Competitive salary depending on age and experience.
