Job Details

This yard-based role is a great opportunity for someone motivated and enthusiastic to enjoy working with some talented horses and would have plenty of opportunities to attend a variety of race meetings, including the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals

The role will involve working at one of our yards where 82 of the horses are stabled.  The main duties would be putting horses on and off the walker, mucking out, grooming, feeding, general stable/yard duties and taking the horses racing when required.  Applicants will need to work well within a team but also use their initiative when required. Previous experience within the racing industry is preferred however we are also interested to hear from applicants who are capable and competent when handling fit thoroughbreds or similar.

We can offer good regular hours (where all over time is paid), working 1 in 3 weekends and a Thursday afternoon off approaching the weekend to work, plus excellent wages, pool money and a day off in the week if you go racing on a Sunday off. Breakfast buns also provided on various days through the week!

Currently no overseas sponsorship available.
