Head Person

We are looking for a Head Person to join our friendly team in Worcestershire. We are based in a lovely rural location in the Midlands in a purpose built yard with approx 50 flat horses and we race throughout the summer and the All-weather season.

This diverse role will include leading the team on a daily basis and working closely with the trainer on the health and welfare of the horses and organisational running of the yard.

You will need to have good leadership and communication skills and be confident in managing a team and be able to lead by example. This role isn't necessarily a riding role, however there would be the opportunity to ride if required for the right candidate.

The ability to take horses to the races driving a 3.5 ton horsebox would be a benefit, but not essential and there'll be plenty of opportunities for breaking yearlings as well.

It is a full-time position, working 1 in 3 weekends, we offer competitive wages, stable bonus, overtime/racing expenses and option to join the pension scheme.
