Assistant Trainer / Head Person

Tom Ward Racing are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Trainer / Head Person to join our growing team on an expanding purpose built 45 box yard. 

The successful applicant will be reliable, hardworking and have excellent attention to detail. Must have previous experience in a similar role, good communication and leadership skills, have the ability to manage and work in a team as well as having excellent horse management skills. Riding out is advantageous but not essential. 

The role will include the management of the day to day running of the yard such as feeding, medicals, and veterinary treatment, staff management and liaising with farriers, vets and other members of the team. 

Working 1 in 3 weekends. Competitive wages, good bonuses including a winner bonus and pool money. Accommodation available.
