Work Rider

The Mark Gillard Racing Work Riding Team is looking for a new member - do you have competitive riding experience of any kind? Are you athletic and enthusiastic? Would you like to meet some of the most lovable horses in Dorset?

We are based 20 minutes to the South of Blandford Forum - on top of Hilton hill, so you will need your own transport.

We pay £15 per lot and you will typically ride between 3 and 5 lots each day. You will also receive a share of the Yard Prize Money and we have one of the highest Win and Place Rates in the Country.

Ours is a small family run yard and we take great pride in the calm, caring environment we create for our staff, and our racehorses, which we think contributes to their success.
