Marketing & Communications Executive

KPF Racing have a fantastic opportunity for a fun, creative, customer-focused Marketing & Communications Executive to join their team!

Responsible for all areas of marketing and communication both internally and externally, the role will include, but will not be limited to:

Creating content for and circulating a regular newsletter

Maintaining the company website including creating and updating content

Producing and regularly circulating a ‘Horses for Sale’ catalogue

Assist the trainer with regular owners’ updates, including notifying owners of entries and declarations

Maintain a strong social media presence including creating a content calendar

Develop and strengthen brand awareness both online and in-person

Attend sales and racing fixtures and represent the KPF Racing brand

Create awareness of horses going to upcoming sales and communicate with consigners to best represent the horses being offered

Attend and assist with the planning of KPF Racing events

In addition to the above, there will be a small amount of office administration required.

There may also be the opportunity to create and manage an in-house syndicate for the right candidate.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills, and attention to detail are essential for the role.

Multiple projects will be running simultaneously, so time management and the ability to work under pressure are vital. 

Previous attendance on a photography / videography course is desirable.

This position is primarily office based in Newmarket but will require travel both locally and nationwide to sales & race meetings, so a full UK driving license will be required.

The role is 40 hours per week.

Generally, hours will fall between 6am – 1pm Monday to Saturday but this will require flexibility during sales and for race meeting attendance.

To be considered for the position you MUST have at least 2 years’ experience in a Marketing & Communications role and submit a portfolio along side your application.
