About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Sales Executive to join our Customer & Commercial team, driving the growth of National Groups Business within our travel trade clientele. Your mission will be to boost head count and revenue across all The Jockey Club’s Racecourse’s.

The Key Account Sales Executive will
• Drive upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue, secure renewals, and resolve any issues to boost client retention.
• Support outbound sales efforts alongside the National Groups Sales Manager to attract new clients and grow revenue.
• Hit performance targets and KPI’s to capitalize on new business and retention opportunities.
• Manage client inventory, payment plans, and administration to ensure a seamless, first-class customer experience.
• Collaborate on group sales strategy for racecourse events, aligning with The Jockey Club’s long-term vision.
• Handle inbound enquiries and maintain accurate client records throughout the sales process for streamlined communication.
• Work closely with customer relations and marketing teams to ensure a unified, top-tier customer journey.

• Strong account management skills with a focus on proactive sales conversion.
• Customer service expert, thriving in a sales and target-driven environment.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed financial targets.
• Passionate about sales acquisition and winning new customers.
• Sports and live events enthusiast.
• Driven to build long-term relationships, delivering premium service to grow accounts.
• Exceptional communicator who can influence diverse stakeholders.
• Highly organized, process-driven, with a knack for prioritizing deadlines and working under pressure.
• Collaborative team player with sharp attention to detail.
