We have a new opportunity to join us at the Tote as Digital Marketing Executive working within our performance marketing team.

As Digital Marketing Executive you will play a key role in supporting our digital marketing strategy with a focus on affiliate marketing. Our affiliate programme forms a key part of the Tote Acquisition mix, contributing significantly to the commercial success of our B2C business.

We are looking for a self-starter with a basic knowledge and understanding of digital marketing and is passionate to persue a career within this area. Within the role you will work collaborativity to coordinate the delivery of campaigns ensuring they run smoothly, within SLA and the best possible results are achieved.

Our headquarters in Wigan is the main hub for our team of over 200 innovative and ambitious experts dedicated to delivering our vision of providing the best betting experience for racing fans. The role will be 37.5 hours per week with core business hours Monday to Friday 9am-5pm however, we are looking for someone who can work flexibility covering weekends when required. The role will be based from our WIgan Office with approx. 2/3 days per week onsite. A full induction, on the job training and development plan will be put in place for anyone who joins the team.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Manage the acquisition briefing process working with Design and Content teams to deliver marketing assets in line with the Sports and Promotions schedule
  • Support with media plans ensuring they are aligned to campaign objectives and delivered ahead of key campaigns providing best possible coverage before being executed
  • Manage affiliate communications including product, pools and promotional updates
  • Manage the payments and auditing process for our affiliate campaigns
  • Work closely with compliance to ensure all marketing assets and terms are signed off for campaigns and the correct ASA and CAP guidelines process is followed
  • Carry out regular competitor analysis whilst also keeping abreast of any industry trends and insights, presenting findings back to the Marketing team
  • Attend industry events and access online material keeping up to date on any relevant news and developments from Advertising & Compliance to new products and initiatives

What we are looking for: 

  • Ability to demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of digital marketing
  • Ability to demonstrate a passion for marketing and to pursue a career in digital marketing
  • An enthusiastic and can-do attitude who is always striving for success and is committed to achieving and driving results
  • A team player with excellent people skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite including strong Excel skills
  • An awareness of the principles of effective marketing campaigns is advantageous
  • A passion for Sports/Horse Racing is advantageous
