Stud Groom - Live in

For the first time in over 40 years Minster Stud are looking for an Experienced Stud Groom.

We are a small and friendly team, looking for an exceptional candidate to join this Private Thoroughbred Stud in Gloucestershire to help us progress with the future in mind.

The applicant needs to be highly motivated, with a driven work ethic and must be able to demonstrate good horsemanship skills having previously spent time working with mares, foals, weanlings and yearlings.

The duties will cover all aspects of work on a Stud Farm which includes general maintenance and in particular experience of foaling, covering and sales preparation.  We have high standards so attention to detail is a must.

You must possess the ability to work as part of a team and use your initiative.

The applicant must be able to drive and have a clean licence and be able to drive a small 3.5t horsebox.  To have the ability to drive a Tractor/Merlo would be beneficial.
