Stud Hand

Trinity Park Stud are looking for a full/part time Stud Hand, previous horse experience would be essential but training can be provided for this role. We are an established Thoroughbred Stud with plenty to offer someone that is an enthusiastic worker, enjoys working as a member of the team or on their own, shows an interest in all aspects of Thoroughbred breeding from foaling to sales preparation and to be confident around young horses.

The role includes caring for mares, foals and yearlings on a daily basis as well as helping with routine reproductive procedures and general grooming/yard duties. We also attend all the main Thoroughbred Sales (Yearlings, Mares and Foals) every year, so sales work would be available, or would be given an opportunity to attend these sales if the candidate has never done so before.

We ideally would like someone full time but can be flexible with hours and days of the week to make it a more flexible role, but the applicant would be required to work every other weekend (2 mornings & 1 afternoon on their required weekend working), full weekend off on their non working weekend.
