We have a fantastic opportunity for a Conference & Events (C&E) Marketing Manager to join our Cheltenham team creating marketing strategies and plans that increase the awareness, engagement and sales leads for our C&E business.

The Conference & Events Marketing Manager will.
• Drive C&E marketing strategy to hit revenue targets and grow the customer base.
• Create campaigns to showcase the Racecourse for conferences, exhibitions, and events.
• Leverage customer insights to remove purchase barriers and guide campaigns.
• Optimize the Racecourse website for C&E events with the digital team.
• Manage the marketing budget and allocate spend to meet goals.
• Collaborate with creative teams to deliver high-impact marketing.
• Track performance, refine plans, and maximize ROI.
• Build an industry membership strategy to boost C&E leads and engagement.
• Ensure strong collaboration with C&E managers for a unified approach.
• Lead national projects across events, website, advertising, and performance marketing.
About you
• Experienced Marketing Manager confident in the development and execution of sophisticated multi-channel marketing strategy and plans proven in delivering commercial outcomes.
• Knowledgeable in all key areas across the marketing mix, including proposition development, creative development, media planning and digital marketing.
• Knowledgeable about C&E marketing and well connected within the industry, especially within the Midlands and Southwest.
• Data driven with experience and understanding in the use of data to drive insight, develop customer strategy and step-change marketing results.
• Outstanding relationship builder with collaborative and supportive approach, capable of building highly positive, constructive relationships across the business.
• Thrives in a process-driven environment with ability to flex style to suit the needs of diverse stakeholder.
• Effective communicator confident leading a team to deliver results.
