The Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association (TBA) is a charity whose purpose is to improve the sustainability, resilience and impact of the British breeding industry by safeguarding the legacy of world class British breeding for racing and future generations to come.
Digital Marketing Executive
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and will spearhead the organisation’s digital content. Responsibilities will include the creation and delivery of engaging marketing plans for TBA membership, events and activities in addition to producing and updating content, managing TBA websites and social media accounts
Success in this role will be demonstrated by how effectively and consistently, meaningful and engaging content is published to generate significant traffic from members and potential audiences across multiple platforms. The role will also ensure the correct use of the TBA’s customer relationship system.
Responsibilities will include:
- Create and plan dynamic content for all TBA marketing and communication channels including website, social media and advertising material
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing & Communications to create compelling marketing strategies and supporting content.
- Support the Head of Marketing & Communications with SEO strategies to improve online engagement
- Track and analyse web, ECRM and social analytics to determine engagement levels, refining activities where required.
- Maintain content and features on the website and dedicated CRM platform.
- Liaise with internal teams to support on the effective marketing and promotion of events and communication of membership benefits to existing and new audiences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a marketing role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation with video editing skills
- Excellent knowledge of marketing principles and techniques
- Ability to analyse data and draw actionable insights
- Familiarity with systems such as HubSpot/Hootsuite would be an advantage as would experience within a service/product-based business.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a marketing role and/or social media content creation, plus strong IT and general administration skills with good attention to detail. A knowledge of the thoroughbred breeding industry is desirable.
