We have a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Coordinator to join our Jockey Club Estates team in Newmarket. This role involves coordinating all aspects of JCE’s estate, ensuring high standards in both administration and marketing.

The Operations Co-ordinator will
• Monitor and report Training Grounds usage accurately, playing an active role in new software development and reporting directly to JCE’s Executive.
• Serve as the main point of contact for potential new trainers across Newmarket, Lambourn, and Epsom, handling all administrative tasks for JCE’s estates.
• Ensure adherence to the Rules and Regulations governing Training Grounds use.
• Collect, analyse, and present data insights.
• Provide administrative support to the Head of Operations and Operations team in Newmarket and Lambourn, including minute-taking at monthly and committee meetings.
• Attend weekly planning meetings to support workload allocation.
• Develop and execute the estate’s marketing plan, including website updates and social media.
• Coordinate with external agencies for on-brand, accurate design, and production of marketing materials.
• Support the organisation of Newmarket’s open weekend and other ad-hoc events.
• Conduct gallops tours and accompany photographers/media as needed.
About you
• Proven background in operations coordination or estate management, ideally within equestrian or sports environments
• Top-notch administration skills, with a sharp eye for detail in reporting and documentation
• Strong analytical abilities—confident in data collection and presenting insights to senior teams.
• Hands-on experience in marketing and social media, plus a knack for driving engaging website updates.
• Exceptional organisational skills, able to juggle multiple tasks and keep projects on track.
• Skilled in collaborating with external agencies to deliver on-brand marketing materials.
• Confident in enforcing policies and maintaining high standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience supporting events and engaging diverse group.
