About the role
Are you a driven and detail-oriented CRM Manager looking to make your mark in the sports and entertainment industry? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Data & CRM Team as a CRM Campaign Manager, where we stage thrilling sporting occasions and live events nationwide.
At this exciting time in our journey, you'll work across multiple channels, utilising our ever-growing wealth of data to enhance fan engagement and fanbase management strategies. You will play a key role in increasing ticket sales, driving fan engagement, and encouraging repeat visits to some of the biggest events in the industry including, The Grand National, The Cheltenham Festival, and The Derby.
As the CRM Campaign Manager your ability to coordinate a team, manage stakeholder needs, and ensure the smooth execution of CRM campaigns will be critical to your success. This role is perfect for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data, and a knack for operational excellence.
The CRM Campaign Manager will
• Manage and develop a team of three CRM executives, inspiring them to deliver exceptional results.
• Collaborate with key senior Large Course Marketing stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their goals, and translate into actionable CRM plans.
• Oversee an operational CRM planning calendar for 14 racecourses across multiple CRM channels (Email, SMS, Push, DM, web/app and targeted media).
• Lead on team campaign effectiveness and revenue reporting, proactively reviewing ongoing results with Large Course Marketing teams and presenting campaign wrap ups for senior stakeholders.
• Understand the technical capabilities of our Dot Digital ESP, quickly becoming the go-to expert on this platform and its integrations with internal systems.
• Work with the Head of CRM and our CRM Agency to optimise customer lifecycle journeys and for Large Courses, identifying opportunities for personalisation and automation.
• Support the Small and Large Course Marketing teams with digital and at-venue database acquisition targets
• Liaise closely with the Digital Product and CRO Teams to ensure the definition and development of all CRM-based initiatives across web/app as required.
About you
• Proven track record in planning and delivering multi-channel CRM campaigns across Email, SMS, Push, web, app, and digital media.
• Expert in CRM platforms and ESPs, with strong skills in automation, personalisation, and data-driven targeting.
• Analytical powerhouse with a commercial mindset, passionate about numbers, segmentation, and actionable insights.
• Skilled at optimising campaigns using test-and-learn strategies that drive results.
• Confident leader with experience in campaign planning, team supervision, and aligning CRM with digital channels.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and presentation skills.
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and results-driven communicator who thrives on delivering impact.
