Longner Bloodstock, is a boutique, predominantly National Hunt stud business near Shrewsbury , Shropshire. We seek a Stud Groom / Hand to assist on a full time basis in the running of the stud operations.
Working as part of a small team roles will include:
Broodmare management & fertility work. Stallion walk in's.
Handling and education young stock from birth through to foal or store sales.
Sales prep, lunging, long reining, turn out / in.
General yard duties - feeding, mucking out, grooming, assisting farriers, vets, physios etc.
Excellent accommodation available on the Longner Estate if required.
Ideally some experience within the industry.
Salary dependent on an individuals skills and experience.
