We have an exciting new opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our Huntingdon Racecourse team. This is a key role in a growing area of the business focused on converting enquiries, account management and sourcing new business.

The Sales Executive will
• Proactively drive sales of all packages and sales avenues for Huntingdon Racecourse, exceeding sales targets and upselling where possible.
• Drive account growth by building strong relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities with new commercial customers and sectors.
• Achieve specific performance targets and KPI’s to maximise revenue.
• Be responsible for meeting and corresponding with all potential clients, handling, and converting incoming enquiries and contracting bookings.
• Participate & host client site visits, meetings, exhibitions & open days.
• Work Race days at Huntingdon and when required across the wider group.
• Assist with the wider Huntingdon Racecourse team when required to complete basic tasks and temporary cover when required.
About you
• An interest in Sports and live events.
• Experience in a sales and target driven environment.
• Hungry for the ability to win and convert new customers.
• Passionate about developing long-term relationships with new and existing clients providing a premium service to grow accounts.
• Outstanding communicator capable of influencing a wide range of stakeholders.
• Organised and process driven approach thriving in prioritising and meeting deadlines with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent team player.
